Sunil K. Singh, is based in Palo Alto and has both investment and operational experience in technology companies.

Sunil has been associated with  startups for much of his life, as Founder and/or early executive.  He was the President and CEO of Informance International, (acquired by PE firm Marlin Equity)  a venture-backed enterprise software company that pioneered a new SaaS category of Real-Time Operational Business Intelligence. He was the Chief Executive of Asia Pacific and Managing Director, India, of Globallogic (acquired by PE Firm APAX Partners), a provider of hi-tech R&D services where he was responsible for guiding the strategy and managing operations in Asia Pacific, with complete operational, sales and P&L responsibility. Other startups include Mokume (acquisition by NASDAQ-traded Versant),  newScale (acquired by Cisco) and UCCNet/AppNet  (acquired by publicly listed CommerceOne).

He has been a Venture Advisor with the Mayfield Fund and an investor and Board Member/Advisor of multiple Silicon Valley startups, mentoring founding teams. These include both consumer internet space –(Kaboodle (acquired by Hearst Media), Movoto (acquired by Recruit Holdings of Japan), Bunchball and several enterprise software companies

He holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University and a B.Tech from IIT-Kanpur and is a thought leader in innovative technologies with several patents in Robotics and Virtual Reality. He has held faculty appointments in Technology at reputed US Universities including Dartmouth and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

DipikaDipika Chopra, Partner

Dipika Chopra is currently based in Singapore and is responsible for identifying and growing early stage companies across various sectors in India/UAE and SE Asia. She has over 19 years of experience in marketing and operations in Fortune 100, Venture Capital and start-up companies.

Prior to Singapore, Dipika was based in New Delhi, India where she co-founded an education company in the space of Admissions Counselling and Executive Education. Prior to that, Dipika was a venture partner with Trident Capital for 5 years where she was responsible for identifying companies benefiting from the growth in India domestic consumer services including media, technology, entertainment, retail and healthcare. Before relocating to India, Dipika was based in Silicon Valley for 6 years as co-founder and Vice President of an Internet company, Clubmom Inc., where under Dipika’s leadership Clubmom grew from less than 10,000 members to over 1 million members. Prior to Dipika’s entrepreneurial experiences, she held several senior leadership positions with larger Fortune 500 firms including Pillsbury (now General Mills) where she oversaw their consumer marketing strategy for Asia Pacific.

Dipika holds a a Masters in International Business from Columbia University and a  B.A. and a M.A. in Economics from University of Delhi, India.

Arjun FB2   Arjun Singh, Associate

Arjun Singh is responsible for research and analysis and marketing communications. He has been a journalist and writer with experience at Boston’s WBUR “On Point With Tom Ashbrook” where he co-produced several features. He has also been a reporter at WERS “You Are Here”  reporting on features in international politics, technology and social issues. He also writes occasionally for BDC Wire. Arjun holds a BA in International Relations from Boston University.
